The Punjab government has appointed four professors of grade 20 and one associate professor of grade 19 for various departments of the Postgraduate Medical Institute, Amiruddin Medical College and Lahore General Hospital.

The Punjab government has appointed four professors of grade 20 and one associate professor of grade 19 for various departments of the Postgraduate Medical Institute, Amiruddin Medical College and Lahore General Hospital.
Dr. Nighat Haroon Khan Professor of Radiology, Dr. Atif Shehzad Professor of Dermatology, Dr. Khurram Saleem Professor of Medicine, Dr. Tahira Saleem Professor of Physiology and Dr. Maryam Atif Associate Professor of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology have taken charge of their respective departments on these posts.
Principal AMC Prof. Dr. Al-Fareed Zafar said that the capabilities of the newly appointed doctors will further improve the treatment facilities available to patients and the standard of education and training of young doctors will also be raised.
Prof. Al-Farid Zafar said that the health sector is the top priority of CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the availability of senior doctors in government hospitals will provide the best treatment facilities to the patients and will also further improve medical education and research work.
The newly appointed doctors, while talking to Principal Prof. Al-Fareed Zafar said that apart from benefiting patients with their experience and knowledge, they will spare no effort in the education and training of medical students and will utilize all their professional skills to further improve the quality of the institution.
