Principal Ameer Uddin Medical College & Lahore General Hospital Prof. Dr. M. Al-Fareed Zafar stated that renowned religious scholar Dr. Zakir Naik has played a pivotal role in the propagation of Islam. He emphasized that particularly the young generation has been greatly influenced by Dr. Naik’s thoughts and ideas and that he has made a significant contribution to spreading Islam across the globe thereby marking a new era in understanding the true spirit of the religion. He remarked that Dr. Zakir Naik’s services have raised awareness about Islam among both Muslims and non-Muslims worldwide clearly demonstrating that Islam is a complete and balanced way of life providing the best guidance for human welfare.

Prof. Al-Fareed Zafar made these remarks during an exclusive session with Dr. Zakir Naik today. Ali Moin was also present on this occasion. During the session, Dr. Zakir Naik emphasized the importance of continuing the dissemination of the true teachings of Islam, particularly during the blessed month of Ramadan while maintaining a religious environment. He pointed out that the greatest challenge of time is to educate non-Muslims about Islam. If this work is carried out systematically and on an international level there can be no greater service to Islam, he added.

Principal LGH Prof. Al-Fareed Zafar stated that Islam is a religion that promotes the well-being and collective progress of humanity. It is the only faith that transcends caste, color, and ethnicity, offering guidance for both the worldly and the eternal success of every human being. He highlighted that Islam emphasizes helping and rehabilitating the poor and helpless which forms the core of its teachings. He further mentioned that Dr. Zakir Naik offers spiritual and religious guidance and Islam through its teachings provides practical examples such as healthcare professionals who save precious lives by providing medical assistance in hospitals. Prof. Al-Fareed Zafar concluded by noting that healthcare professionals and Dr. Zakir Naik are united in their mission to serve humanity on the same front.
