LAHORE - Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has affirmed Pakistan's military strength while highlighting the growing political prominence of Pakistan People's Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, whose stance against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's policies has attracted international attention.

Speaking at a workers' convention in Lahore organized in connection with the PPP's foundation day, Governor Khan expressed confidence in the party's resurgence across Punjab, particularly in the provincial capital. The event, which drew thousands of party workers, was organized by Malik Abbas Khokhar, ticket holder for PP-162, and Muhammad Fayyaz Bhatti, ticket holder for PP-163.

The governor emphasized that Pakistan possesses a strong and professional army while noting that Bilawal Bhutto's bold diplomatic positioning has showcased his leadership potential on the global stage. Governor Khan observed that the PPP's popularity is gaining momentum throughout the country, with increasing numbers of Pakistanis viewing Bilawal Bhutto as a potential future Prime Minister, reflecting growing trust in the party's leadership.

Governor Khan announced that the Pakistan People's Party has successfully regained its political footing in Punjab, with Lahore demonstrating significant support for the party's agenda. He revealed that plans are currently underway for a massive rally at Minar-e-Pakistan following Foundation Day, which is expected to serve as a pivotal moment in the country's political landscape.

During his address, the Punjab Governor emphasized his personal commitment to serving the people, declaring himself a servant to the poor and marginalized communities. He assured attendees that the Governor House remains open to all citizens, reinforcing the party's commitment to accessibility and public service.

Governor Khan particularly praised Bilawal Bhutto's courageous stance against the Indian Prime Minister's policies, highlighting the young leader's vision and diplomatic acumen. He urged the people of Punjab to maintain unity and solidarity, assuring them that they are not alone in facing the challenges ahead.
