CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif Directs to Provide Free Treatment to India-Return Patients
Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed to provide free treatment to the patients returning from India. After the recent outbreak of tension between India and Pakistan, Pakistani patients were sent back from India without completion of their treatment. It has been decided to ensure treatment of patients suffering from transplant and other diseases in the province.
She also directed to ensure free treatment of patients returning from India with incomplete treatment. She vowed, “Patients returning from India will not be left alone under any circumstance.” She issued directions to the Health Department officials in this regard.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of 06 children due to suffocation in a flour drum in Kot Momin. She has expressed heartfelt sympathies and condolence to the bereaved families.
