LAHORE POLICE DEVISES FOOLPROOF SECURITY FOR PEACEFUL OBSERVANCE OF HAZRAT ALI'S MARTYRDOM DAY
Lahore: A comprehensive security plan has been formulated by Lahore Police for the peaceful observance of Hazrat Ali's Martyrdom Day. Over 7,000 police officers and personnel will be on duty to ensure security during the event.
On the occasion of Hazrat Ali's Martyrdom Day, more than 7,000 police officers and personnel will perform security duties. Over 600 traffic police officers, 72 teams from the Elite Police Force, 44 teams from the Dolphin Squad and 30 teams from the PRU will also be deployed for security. Female police officials will be assigned to check female mourners.
CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana emphasized that Lahore Police will provide foolproof security for the mourning processions and majalis. He stated that a three-tier security barrier would be in place for the participants of the processions. Kamyana issued instructions to keep the police highly alert and ensure thorough checks of the mourners. He added that CCTV cameras would monitor the processions and majalis in real-time. Special arrangements have been made to ensure smooth traffic flow and stringent security measures have been put in place for the day.
CCPO Lahore expressed his commitment to ensuring peace and security during Hazrat Ali's Martyrdom Day observances at all costs.
