Lahore: The funeral prayer for former MPA and founding member of Pakistan Peoples Party, Dr. Ziaullah Bangash, was offered at Gol Bagh, Shadbagh. The funeral prayer for the deceased was led by his son Armughan Bangash at Gol Bagh, Shadbagh.

 

A tragic incident occurred on this occasion when Parvez Butt, a prominent social figure of the area and a long-time friend of the deceased who was attending the funeral, passed away due to cardiac arrest while viewing the body for the last time.

 

A large number of people from various schools of thought and local residents participated in Dr. Ziaullah Bangash's funeral prayer. Among those present were Chaudhry Aslam Gill, Usman Malik, Haji Aziz-ur-Rehman Chan, Asif Hashmi, Faisal Mir, Raja Zulqarnain Advocate, Dr. Asad Ashraf, Chaudhry Shahbaz, Muhammad Mehdi, Zahid Zulfiqar, Naseer Ahmad, Amir Naseer Butt, Arif Khan, Farrukh Marghoob Siddiqi, Khalid Butt, Sadaqat Shirvani, Ahsan Rizvi, Waqar Malik, Shahida Jabeen, Sohail Malik, Anjum Butt, Wajid Shah, Agha Taqi, Gulrez Butt, Basharat Siddiqi, Rao Shujaat, Athar Shah, Sheikh Roshan, Zeeshan Shami, Naseem Sabir, and Mudassar Shakir along with numerous other individuals.
