Dignified Ceremony Held at Lahore High Court to Mark Birth Anniversary of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto

Lahore: A dignified ceremony was organized at the Lahore High Court under the auspices of the People's Lawyers Forum Central Punjab to commemorate the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Pakistan Peoples Party Central Information Secretary Nadeem Afzal Chan participated in the ceremony as the chief guest and addressed the participants while expressing his thoughts.

 

In his address, Nadeem Afzal Chan paid tribute to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto's struggle for democracy, supremacy of the constitution, and public rights, stating that Bhutto Shaheed's political philosophy remains alive in the hearts of the people even today. He further said that the Pakistan Peoples Party is fully committed to protecting democratic values while advancing this mission and will continue to remain steadfast on this path in the future as well.

Senior leaders and office bearers of the People's Lawyers Forum participated in the ceremony in large numbers. Among them were Raheel Kamran Cheema, President Shakeel Ahmed Pasha, Senior Vice President, Azeem Hafeez who holds the position of Information Secretary, Syed Qamar Abbas, Khurram Zia Bhatti, along with other office bearers and members. All participants highlighted in detail the political services of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and appreciated his sacrifices.

The lawyers present at the ceremony reiterated their commitment that the legal fraternity will always play its full role for democracy, the constitution, and the rule of law, and will continue to raise their voice for the protection of public rights while following the path shown by Shaheed Bhutto. At the conclusion of the ceremony, a cake was cut on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Shaheed Quaid-e-Awam, and all participants offered special prayers for the elevation of his status.
