Lahore: Dr. Ziaullah Bangash, former member of the Provincial Assembly and founding member of the Pakistan Peoples Party, has passed away. The funeral prayer for the deceased will be offered today, Monday, January 6, at Gol Ground Shadbagh after Zuhr prayers.

Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Dr. Ziaullah Bangash. Other leaders of the Peoples Party from Central Punjab and Lahore, including Raja Pervez Ashraf, Hassan Murtaza, Shahzad Saeed Chima, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed, Chaudhry Aslam Gill, Usman Malik and Rana Irfan, have also extended their condolences to his son on the passing of the deceased.

All the leaders have paid tribute to the services of the deceased while offering prayers for his forgiveness and praying for patience for the bereaved family. Dr. Ziaullah Bangash was a senior and loyal worker of the Pakistan Peoples Party who rendered valuable services for the party.
