Lahore: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, met with party workers at Governor House, during which he carefully listened to suggestions from party activists. Secretary General of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Humayun Khan, and Information Secretary Nadeem Afzal Chan were also present alongside Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. On this occasion, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met with Dr. Rizwan Bheo, Malik Mubashir, Ahmad Ghuman, Owais Baig, Rana Sharafat, Shaista Aslam, Fahad Gujar, Ali Sannol, Hassan Safdar, Zainab Ali, Usman Awan, Usman Pervaiz Malik, Jabbar Nasir, Dr. Zarar Yousaf, Ali Sannol, Zahida Ansari, Azhar Abbas, Dr. Ajmal, and Mian Noman.

 

Additionally, former Member of the National Assembly Tariq Shabbir Mayo and independent candidate Dr. Amer Ali Hussain met with Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Governor House after joining the Pakistan Peoples Party, accompanied by Daniyal Tariq. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari welcomed those joining the Pakistan Peoples Party and congratulated them on becoming part of the party.

 

Meanwhile, Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa, the party candidate from National Assembly Constituency Number 185, also met with Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Governor House, during which he informed the Chairman about the detailed situation of rigging in his electoral constituency and mentioned the difficulties faced during the elections.

 

Furthermore, more than seventy ticket holders who secured over fifteen thousand votes from across Punjab met with Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Governor House. During this meeting, detailed discussions took place regarding a comprehensive plan of action concerning various political matters, including local body elections in Punjab, and future strategy was discussed.

 

Detailed discussions also occurred between Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the Pakistan Peoples Party ticket holders about the current political situation in the province, in which consideration was given to methods for strengthening party organization and improving public engagement.

 

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated on this occasion that if ideological political parties play an active role in the political arena and come forward, it benefits both the country and the people, and democracy becomes stronger. He said that the Pakistan Peoples Party wants to come to power based on public support, and we do not prefer any other method of gaining power because our struggle has always been for the restoration of people's rights.

 

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated that one political party has made it a habit to target national institutions, which is extremely harmful for the country. He clearly stated that our demand is that all institutions should work within their constitutional boundaries and not exceed their limits. He further said that political parties should also conduct their politics within their political sphere and avoid unnecessary conflicts.

 

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari emphasized that a political party that conducts politics within its political sphere neither faces difficulties itself nor creates difficulties for others, but rather plays a positive role in national stability.

 

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that at such a critical time when threats exist on the borders with Afghanistan and India and terrorist incidents are increasing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, we must firmly confront those who target the army and other national institutions in a non-political manner, and we must prioritize national interest above everything else.
