Ambassador Rukhsana Afzaal Participates in Series of Diplomatic and Community Engagements in Bangkok

Bangkok: Ambassador of Pakistan to Thailand, Rukhsana Afzaal, attended a series of diplomatic and community events highlighting cultural exchange, women’s leadership, and educational cooperation.
On Friday, Ambassador Afzaal attended the Grand Reunion Luncheon for Present and Former Lady Ambassadors, hosted by Ms. Sirin Phathanothai. The gathering provided a warm platform for meaningful dialogue, friendship, and the sharing of diplomatic experiences among distinguished women diplomats.
Earlier, on Thursday, Ambassador Afzaal joined the International Women Ambassadors Night, hosted by the Ambassador of Norway at the Norwegian Residence. The potluck dinner featured diverse cuisines from around the world, celebrating unity and cross-cultural camaraderie in the diplomatic community.
On October 16, Ambassador Rukhsana Afzaal was the Chief Guest at the AIT Welcome Party for new students at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). Eleven Pakistani students joined this year under prestigious scholarships, including the King’s, Queen’s, CSI America, and Government of Pakistan Scholarships.
In her remarks, the Ambassador congratulated the new students and emphasized the importance of inclusivity, unity, and cultural understanding in fostering global citizenship and academic excellence.
