Lahore, Pakistan — Allama Dr. Badar Munir Mujaddadi, President of Ulama Mushaikh Rabita Council and Director of Unity Assist Foundation and Human Welfare and Development Organization, presented the International Peace Award to Archbishop Foley Beach, Diocesan Bishop of the South and Archbishop of the Anglican Church in North America, in recognition of his global efforts for peace and interfaith harmony.

The ceremony took place at the Dioceses of Raiwind, Waris Road, Lahore, and was attended by distinguished religious and community leaders including Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, Bishop Azad Marshall, Rev. Emmanuel Khokhar, Samuel Piara, Padri Shehzad, Maulana Muhammad Asim Makhdoom, Qari Khalid Mehmood, Ch. Ghulam Abbas, Chaudhry Waqas Mansha, and Prince Mufti Talha Badar Saifi, among others.

Dr. Mujaddadi paid tribute to Archbishop Beach for his visit to Lahore and especially thanked him for his humanitarian contribution to Pakistan’s flood victims through The American Relief and Development Fund.

In his concluding remarks, Archbishop Foley Beach led a joint prayer for peace, interfaith harmony, and stronger relations between the people of Pakistan and the United States.

During his visit to Pakistan, Archbishop Beach also traveled to Islamabad, Taxila, and Lahore at the invitation of Bishop Azad Marshall, President-Bishop of the Church of Pakistan. His engagements included meetings with government officials, church leaders, and Islamic scholars, as well as preaching at an Ordination and Confirmation Service held at the Chapel of St. Stephen and All Martyrs at Lahore College of Theology.

The ceremony highlighted a growing spirit of mutual respect and cooperation among faith communities committed to global peace and humanitarian service.
