Bangkok: A delegation from the Punjab Agriculture Research Board and Ayub Agricultural Research Institute called on Ambassador of Pakistan to Thailand, Rukhsana Afzaal, to explore avenues of cooperation in the fruit and vegetable farming sector.

The meeting focused on modern farming techniques, value addition, post-harvest management, and opportunities to enhance exports of fresh produce to international markets. Both sides underlined the significance of adopting sustainable agricultural practices and strengthening linkages between farmers and industry.

The discussions also highlighted the potential for new partnerships to promote Punjab’s rich agricultural resources and to increase its presence in global agri-markets. Ambassador Afzaal appreciated the delegation’s efforts and reaffirmed the Embassy’s support in fostering greater collaboration for the advancement of Pakistan’s agriculture sector.
