Bangkok: Ambassador of Pakistan to Thailand, Rukhsana Afzaal, met with the President of the Pakistan Student Association and its office bearers at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). During the meeting, students shared ideas for strengthening ties with the Embassy through participation in cultural and national events, support for student-led activities, and fostering community spirit via academic and recreational initiatives.

Ambassador Afzaal appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and assured them of the Embassy’s continued support and facilitation in their endeavors.

In a separate engagement, Ambassador Rukhsana Afzaal hosted the Smurfs Football Club U-13 Youth Team at the Embassy of Pakistan in Bangkok. The team represented Pakistan at the prestigious Koh Samui Youth Cup 2025, held in Thailand from 19–21 September.

The Ambassador praised the young players for their spirit, dedication, and teamwork, while also acknowledging the leadership and support that made their participation possible. She encouraged the players to keep striving for excellence and to continue serving as proud ambassadors of Pakistan through sportsmanship and unity.
