Bangkok, September 14, 2025 – Thailand has officially launched the website www.am2026thailand.go.th for the upcoming 2026 International Monetary Fund (IMF)–World Bank Group (WBG) Annual Meetings, which it will host from 12 to 18 October 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok.
The online platform provides delegates and stakeholders with comprehensive information about the meetings, including the event’s history, details on Thailand’s second hosting, practical guidelines for participants, and highlights of Bangkok and regional destinations. It also showcases Thailand’s cultural and tourism attractions, reinforcing its role as both a financial hub and a world-class travel destination.
This will mark Thailand’s return as host after 35 years, a milestone that underscores the country’s strong commitment to international financial cooperation and sustainable development. Thailand previously hosted the IMF-WBG Annual Meetings in 1991.
