U.S. Ambassador Commends Thailand's Cultural Excellence at World Expo 2025
Ambassador Grayson lauded Thailand’s contribution to Expo 2025

U.S. Ambassador William E. Grayson, Commissioner General of the U.S. Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai, visited the “Thainess Power” exhibition hosted by Thailand’s Public Relations Department (PRD) at the Thailand Pavilion, commending Thailand’s cultural showcase and its growing global role.
During his visit, Ambassador Grayson joined the AI Photo Booth activity, where he virtually donned traditional Thai attire against a backdrop of iconic Thai architecture and received a commemorative photo. He also explored the exhibition’s key highlights, which present Thailand’s soft power through art, food, music, and festivals, including interactive games, giveaways, and souvenirs crafted by local communities.
The Ambassador also held discussions on communication strategies, praising PRD’s efforts to deliver credible and accessible information through the official platform www.thailand.go.th. The multilingual gateway—available in Thai, English, German, Japanese, and Chinese—serves tourists, investors, and global audiences. Notably, the United States ranks as the second-largest visitor group to the site after Japan.
Ambassador Grayson lauded Thailand’s contribution to Expo 2025, saying it not only positions the country as a hub of creative culture but also broadens its visibility and influence on the international stage.
The “Thainess Power” exhibition runs from 1–16 September 2025 in the temporary exhibition zone behind the Thailand Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka.
