Abu Dhabi, September 7 — H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held talks on Saturday with Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, to discuss the strong bilateral relations between their two countries and prospects for further cooperation.

The meeting, held in Abu Dhabi, focused on ways to enhance the deep-rooted fraternal ties between the UAE and Bahrain in line with their shared development priorities. Both sides underscored their commitment to advancing cooperation across various sectors to support the prosperity and well-being of their peoples.

Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the depth of relations between the two nations, noting that the partnership continues to strengthen through the leadership’s mutual commitment to building on historic bonds and expanding collaboration at all levels.

The ministers also exchanged views on regional and international developments, highlighting the importance of reinforcing peace, stability, and cooperation in the Middle East to achieve greater security and growth for its people.

The meeting was attended by Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, and Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Chairman of the Board of the Emirates Drug Establishment and Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs.
