Shahid Afridi’s eldest daughter Aqsa blessed with baby girl
Family names newborn Ayra

Former Pakistani cricket captain Shahid Afridi on Tuesday shared the joyous news of becoming a grandfather once more, as his eldest daughter Aqsa welcomed a baby girl.
Taking to his X account (formerly Twitter), Afridi wrote, "Alhamdulilah, Allah has blessed Aqsa and Naseer with beautiful Ayra. Daughters are the most precious reflection of His mercy and the most precious blessing. Keep us in your prayers."
The family has named the newborn Ayra.
Aqsa tied the knot with Naseer Nasir on December 30 last year in an intimate nikah ceremony held in Karachi.
The event was attended by close family and friends, including renowned fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, who is married to another of Afridi’s daughters.
Videos from the ceremony showcased the close-knit family celebrating the joyous occasion.
