PIA Hajj schedule faces delay

Due to financial crisis, Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has failed to make a schedule for Hajj flights nationwide, including Faisalabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
According to sources, PIA ignored Faisalabad in Hajj flight schedule and PIA headquarters decided not to start Hajj flight operations from Faisalabad.
PIA sources said, PIA operated Hajj flights from Faisalabad two years ago and around 22 Hajj flights were operated from Faisalabad two years ago.
Sources said that out of 12 PIA Boeing 777 aircraft, 7 are grounded and out of 17 Airbus 320 aircraft, 7 are grounded.
Most of the grounded aircraft were grounded due to lack of engines, landing gear and other parts, sources said.
