Two Senior Vice Presidents Appointed in International Churches Alliance

Karachi / Sheikhupura – June 2025

The International Churches Alliance (ICA) has announced the appointment of two key individuals to senior leadership roles within its organization, continuing its commitment to strengthening the Christian community across Pakistan.

In an official notification issued by Bishop Dr. Balthazar Samuel John, Chairman of the International Churches Alliance and head of the John Methodist Church and Bishop Council of the Methodist Church in Pakistan, Pastor Asif Boota, a resident of Karachi, has been appointed Senior Vice President of the Karachi Division. The appointment was discussed and agreed upon with Pastor Javed Alam (Spokesperson to the Chairman for Sindh Province) and Advocate Tanveer Bagga (Secretary General Sindh, ICA). The ICA leadership extended their congratulations and expressed confidence in Pastor Boota’s ability to serve diligently and contribute effectively to the mission and growth of the organization in the region.

In a separate notification, Pastor Amir Naseem, a resident of Sheikhupura, has been appointed Senior Vice President of District Sheikhupura. His appointment was endorsed in consultation with Pastor Nadeem Akhtar Masih (Coordinator Pakistan), Pastor Javed Akhtar (President Central Punjab), and Pastor Saleem James (President Sheikhupura District). The ICA welcomed Pastor Naseem to his new role and expressed hope that he will work with dedication to further the aims and vision of the Alliance.

Both appointments underscore ICA’s ongoing efforts to expand its leadership network and ensure a more robust organizational presence across the provinces.
