Lahore, Pakistan – [14 June 2025] — The International Churches Alliance (ICA) has announced two significant leadership appointments within its organizational structure in Pakistan. These designations come following a high-level consultation among ICA leadership to strengthen the mission and vision of the Alliance across the Lahore region.

Bishop Peter Saleebi, a resident of Kasur, has been appointed as President of ICA Lahore Division 1, which includes Districts Kasur and Nankana Sahib. Similarly, Pastor Alfred Khushi, residing in Lahore, has been named President of ICA Lahore Division 2, overseeing Districts Lahore and Sheikhupura.

These appointments were made in agreement with senior leadership members of ICA, including:

• Elder Aslam James Mattu, Sr. Vice President & Advisor Education Pakistan

• Pastor Nadeem Akhtar Masih, Information Secretary Pakistan

• Pastor Javed Akhtar, President Central Punjab

In official notifications issued by Bishop Dr. Balthazar Samuel John, Chairman of the International Churches Alliance and the John Methodist Church, it was stated:

“We congratulate both leaders for their appointments and hope they will work diligently and wholeheartedly for the betterment and growth of ICA in their respective divisions.”

The notifications also emphasize that these appointments supersede all previous notifications and will remain in effect until further notice.
