LAHORE, May 14, 2025 — Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, Honorable Minister for Minority Affairs of Punjab, will visit the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) today to participate in a pivotal meeting of its Standing Committee on “Human Rights for Minorities.”

Mr. Saleem Shakir, Convener of the committee, has formally co‑opted Minister Arora as a Member/Special Invitee for 2025. The session convenes at 2:00 PM in LCCI’s Founders Hall, where stakeholders will deliberate policy measures to boost minority entrepreneurship, enhance skill development, and forge public‑private partnerships aimed at uplifting marginalized business communities.

In an invitation letter from LCCI President Mian Abuzar Shad, the Chamber highlighted its commitment to “inclusive economic growth and empowerment of all communities,” noting that the Minister’s expertise in fostering interfaith harmony and equitable opportunity is vital to the committee’s mission.
