LAHORE, May 12, 2025 — In a vibrant display of community solidarity, HARDS Pakistan and the Christian Businessmen Fellowship Pakistan (CBFP) joined forces yesterday to host a youth awareness seminar at the Free Will Baptist Church in Green Town, Lahore. The event—aptly themed “Another Day of Hope, Action and Success”—drew local residents and prominent figures from the Christian community for a day devoted to empowerment and socio-economic uplift.
Organized in collaboration with the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), The Hunnar Foundation (THF), and Saiban-e-Pakistan, the seminar aimed to equip marginalized young people with the tools and knowledge needed to realize their potential. Through a series of interactive workshops and panel discussions, participants explored avenues for vocational training, entrepreneurship, and community service.
“Today’s gathering underscores our shared responsibility to invest in the next generation,” said Saleem Shakir, President of CBFP. “We have witnessed remarkable talent among our youth, yet many lack access to vital resources and information. Events like this pave the way for meaningful change.”
Special gratitude was extended to Pastor Mehboob Dilshad, Chairman of Free Will Baptist Church, whose support made the venue possible. “Thank you, dear brother Pastor Mehboob, for your unwavering hospitality,” Shakir added. He also acknowledged Sohail Habel for “creating valuable opportunities” and fostering a spirit of collaboration.
Attendees left the seminar inspired and armed with practical action plans—ranging from small-business startups to volunteer initiatives—marking yet another successful step toward sustainable youth development in Pakistan’s Christian community.
